Sarah is a Connecticut Yankee in Savannah because she absolutely hates the cold! She’s always had a passion for the underdog, literally and figuratively. Rescue work is her passion. She rescued/fostered and adopted out 18 dogs last year and is already on number three this year (as of February 2018)! Nothing is more rewarding to her than saving a dog and seeing them flourish in their new home. She loves helping dogs find what they need whether it’s medicine, love, or just plain old attention. This job allows her to do just that and get paid for it.
Her favorite part of working at Allison Animal Care is meeting all of the different shapes, sizes, and personalities of our pets, and really establishing a relationship with them and their owners. She has two rescue pups – her old man Herbie who’s only three but acts like he’s eighty, and Ralphie her therapy dog who loves volunteering for Hospice. She also has a sweet munchkin kitty named Scarlett and always has at least one foster dog in her furry house.
